Mission Statement

Bringing the community together:

This wonderful community asset was paid for and built by the people of the village – for the people of the village in 1895.  As a team, we are committed to restoring and preserving this tremendous local asset and it’s inspiring story for future generations to enjoy.  It is important to us that this building is kept available to the people of the village in the manner it was intended when it was built.  This includes partnering with local businesses to offer services of interest to the community that enable us to fund the necessary maintenance and refurbishments, as well as ensuring the hall is available for families and community members to come together, engage with each other, and celebrate with each other.

The Frimley Village Hall is now supporting a wide range of health, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion activities and running at over 80+% capacity at present. It is currently accessed by ~200-250+ community members/week, plus an additional 100-150 at the weekends for celebratory events etc.

The village hall is now able to offer a diverse range of inclusive offerings to support the full range of health, wellbeing, faith, and accessibility needs of this growing community; including:

•    Faith Groups: including Islamic Prayer Group, Christian Gospel Group, Islamic Woman’s Network (first in the area)
•    Fitness Classes: including Pilates, Judo and Mixed Martial Arts
•    Health: including NHS respiratory clinic and other adhoc NHS clinics (in partnership with Frimley Park Hospital)
•    Other: including Play Groups, Birthday / Anniversary Celebrations, Dog Training, Dog First Aid and Vet Education Clinics
